7th Young Polymer Scientists Conference and Short Course
27-28 September 2021, Lodz, Poland, online
We cordially invite you to participate in the 7th Young Polymer Scientists Conference and Short Course. The topics of this event cover polymer science from fundamentals to applications: synthesis of polymers and macromolecular architectures, characterization, processing, and theory of polymers and nanocomposites. Conference is organized online and free of charge.
CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS
Participants are encouraged to apply for short oral or poster presentations and then are required to submit short abstract (abstract template is available in Registration section). Participants without any presentations are also welcome. The Conference Advisory Board will qualify the final form of the presentation (oral or poster) and inform the authors about its decision. A book of abstracts will be accesible on the Conference web page.

We kindly remind all participants, including invited lecturers and young scientists with oral presentations, that you have an individual access link in the confirmation e-mail (it was sent shortly after registering). Oral sessions will be organized on ClickMeeting platform. If you are not familiar with ClickMeeting, below you will find links presenting this webinar tool:
How to register and join a ClickMeeting – YouTube
How to use ClickMeeting as a presenter – YouTube
Information for authors of oral presentations:
1. Presentations will be shown in screen-sharing mode. It is not necessary to upload presentation files before the conference. When you join the event via URL link, you will have the role of attendee with ability to write messages in the chat box. Just before your presentation time you will be assigned the role of presenter – the options to turn on the camera and microphone and share the screen will be activated. Oral presentation time is 10+5 minutes for young scientists (Y) and 35+5 for invited (T).
2. We are planning short training in the use of the ClickMeeting platform dedicated to the authors of the oral and poster presentations. The training will take place on the ClickMeeting platform on several dates:
24.09.2021 at 10:00
24.09.2021 at 14:00
24.09.2021 at 18:00
25.09.2021 at 12:00.
Proposed meetings are not obliged and it is possible to attend any chosen one without prior notice. For technical reasons, the access links to each of these meetings separately will be sent to your e-mail address one hour before training.
Information concerning poster presentations:
1. The posters will be available to participants in two ways:
a) on the conference website from 24 September until 4 October,
b) during the poster sessions enabling live contact with the authors of posters. The authors will present posters in the screen-sharing mode. The relevant access links will be sent to the poster authors and posted on the conference website shortly before the event.
2. We kindly remind to poster authors that the deadline for poster submission is 22 of September. The posters not submitted by this date will be removed from the book of abstracts and the conference schedule. The posters should be sent in PDF format to the following address: email@example.com. There are no special requirements for the size and shape of the slides, the only limitation is the number of slides – not more than 4. We kindly request that the size of the PDF file does not exceed 3 MB if possible.
Participation in this conference is free of charge, but ALL participants will have to register via web page below.
REGISTRATION LINK – registation is closed
We no longer accept abstracts and applications for the presentations, but you can still register up to 10. 09. 2021 as a participant without a presentation.
Deadline for registration: 10.09.2021
